What you'll be doing
The Medical Oncology Clinical Trials Unit (MOCTU) at Westmead Hospital drives cutting-edge cancer research to improve patient outcomes. This role offers essential administrative support to ensure smooth, efficient operations in a fast-paced clinical trials environment.
In this role you will be:
- Providing administrative support to the Director Clinical Trials and Operations Manager.
- Assisting with coordination of pharmaceutical and academic clinical trials.
- Managing documentation and correspondence within the unit.
- Supporting day-to-day office operations in a high-demand setting.
- Contributing to the efficient running of the Medical Oncology Clinical Trials Unit.

Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in administrative support within a healthcare, research, or clinical trials setting.
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan, manage, and use systems to track progress on tasks.
- Demonstrated intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, clinical databases, and other computer-based information systems relevant to healthcare or research settings.
- Ability to work independently under limited guidance, and, as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Proven ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
