We have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Project Manager to join our Strategic Asset Management & Planning team!

What You Will Do:

As a Principal Project Manager – Strategic Asset Management & Planning, you will lead multidisciplinary teams, provide technical and strategic guidance, and oversee the end-to-end delivery of major infrastructure projects across Council’s extensive capital works program.

Whether you are an accomplished project manager or a qualified RPEQ professional ready to advance your career, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working alongside a supportive and high-performing team.

What We Are Looking For:

Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or other relevant Engineering qualification.

Extensive civil engineering, project and contract management experience in a medium to large multi-disciplined organisation.

Working knowledge and understanding of project management frameworks, such as PMBOK, PRINCE2, and other industry standards.

Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire at all levels within a team to work collaboratively and achieve agreed outcomes.

Demonstrated ability in using effective negotiation skills when dealing with clients.

Well-developed written communication skills with demonstrated ability to write detailed technical reports.
