We are currently looking for a Chef to join our catering team on a full-time or part time permanent basis. If you love cooking food and want to work in a fast paced, supportive environment then we would love to hear from you. You will be responsible for the service and preparation of food items for our guests.

As a Chef you will be a key part of our Catering team, responsible for maintaining and enhancing our reputation as market leaders in our sector. Your two key benchmarks are quality & safety.

Your Contribution

• Food preparation for guests which meet their needs (including dietary concerns);
• Use cookery methods demonstrated by Head Chef;
• Actively observe, learn and practice to develop your skills
• Appropriate receipt, storage and stock control of catering supplies
• Clean and maintain kitchen and other food preparation/service areas
• Proactively model the Fresh Hope values in all interactions with your team, stakeholders, and external parties

Qualifications

• Cert III in Commercial Cookery

Essentials

• Have or are willing to get your Working With Children's Check (WWCC)
• Own transport to site (onsite parking available)
• You love to be busy and want to achieve something when you come to work
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of Food Safety Standards

Highly Desirable

• Experience in cooking for people with special dietary needs within a commercial setting will be an advantage.
