About the role

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Duty Manager to join our dynamic team at The Nor East' in Gilles Plains SA 5086. As a Duty Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of our venue, which will have a freshly renovated gaming room to proudly boast about in the interim. Your exceptional customer service and leadership skills will be instrumental in delivering an exceptional experience to our valued customers.

What you'll be doing

Overseeing the daily operations of the venue

Ensuring the highest standards of service and cleanliness are maintained across all areas of the venue

Effectively communicating with team members to maintain team morale and a healthy working atmosphere

Handling customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner

Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels

Assisting with the implementation of policies, procedures, and training programs to enhance the overall customer experience

Collaborating with the management team to identify and implement strategies for continuous improvement

What we're looking for

To be considered for this role, it is important that the individual has obtained a current RSA, RP Badge and also holds current certificates to work in a gaming room to carry out the following:

Relevant experience in a similar Duty Manager or supervisory role within the hospitality industry

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team

Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges

Proficient in cash handling, inventory management, and other administrative duties

Monitor gaming activities to maintain integrity and compliancy according to Gambling Code of Practice

A passion for the hospitality industry and a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences

Flexible and adaptable to work in a casual environment which includes shifts on the weekends
