About the role

Bache Bros Produce Centre is seeking a talented and driven Senior Customer Service and Sales Representative to join our team in SA. In this position you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and connecting with our Supermarket and Hospitality customers regarding our range of seasonal products and services. This is a full-time position that offers excellent opportunities for career advancement within our dynamic organisation.

What you'll be doing

Start time of 5am

Manage and lead our customer service and sales team

Prospecting and generating new leads through cold-calling, networking, and other sales activities

Conducting effective merchandising displays that promote sales along with product sampling to potential and current customers

Negotiating and closing sales deals while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction

Maintaining detailed records of sales activities and pipeline

Collaborating with the marketing team to develop and implement sales strategies

Providing valuable feedback to the product team to enhance our offerings

Staying up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and market changes

Will require quarterly rural travel

What we're looking for

Experience in the fruit and vegetable industry is essential

Proven track record of success in a customer service and sales role, preferably in the fruit and vegetable industry

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers

Strong negotiation and closing skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Proficient in using sales-related software and technology

Adaptable and willing to learn new skills to stay competitive in the market
