Our client, a seasoned mining machinery organisation, is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator for a permanent position.

You will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimising enterprise infrastructure. You will ensure the performance, reliability, and security of critical systems while driving innovation through automation and best practices. This role is hands-on and requires a deep technical background across Microsoft 365, Azure cloud, Windows/Linux servers, virtualisation, and backup systems.

What you'll do:

• Maintain Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Teams Phone System).
• Administer Windows/Linux servers, VMware, Azure, and Veeam Backup.
• Implement automation using PowerShell or Python.
• Manage Intune, SCCM, Autopilot, and MDM (Apple, Samsung).
• Provide Level 3 support and resolve complex system issues.
• Oversee network infrastructure (Cisco, Fortinet, Extreme, Ubiquiti).
• Ensure system security and compliance.
• Support project rollouts and site-based ICT implementations.

What you'll bring:

• 10+ years' experience in IT infrastructure or systems administration.
• Scripting experience (PowerShell preferred).
• Solid understanding of networking, firewalls, and storage (SAN).
• Certifications in Microsoft, VMware, or related technologies (preferred).
