Printforce, the largest provider of Real Estate printing in Australia with over 200 seats, needs an experienced person to provide system administration and technical support for it's busy ICT department.
Reporting to the ICT manager, the successful applicant will have in-depth knowledge and experience with all aspects of Apple computer hardware/software as well as Windows client/server operating system - combined with excellent planning and problem-solving skills.
This position is ideally suited to an individual who is keen to operate in a challenging environment and also desires a career in the graphics/printing industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market leading company with state-of-the-art equipment in a modern facility - while being located close to the CBD and public transport.
Based in our head office located in East Perth, you will provide system administration as well as local/remote level 1/2/3 support services to our staff based in Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide.
Qualification & Work Experience
- Relevant Bachelor degree or above
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in similar role with system and network monitoring systems
Other requirements
- High-level knowledge of the Mac platform and operating systems
- General knowledge of system backup and integrity, security and network troubleshooting
- A high degree of communication skills both verbal and written
- Experience with ICT support in a commercial environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job description
- Deployment, installation, administration, maintenance and troubleshooting of Apple hardware and peripherals (incl Macs, iPhones and iPads)
- Administration, maintenance and troubleshooting of network user accounts (incl LDAP, DHCP, Radius, eMail, SQL database, Wi-Fi and VPN)
- Administration, maintenance and troubleshooting of VolP communication appliances and multi-function printers (inc consumables)
- Be responsible for processes and procedures associated with system security/disaster recovery
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers and external service providers including monitoring service level agreements
- Provide local and remote staff support with diagnosing and troubleshooting system/software issues
- Action tasks/service requests and resolve incidents
- Handle staff on-boarding and off-boarding
- Hardware/software asset management and tracking as well as documenting and maintaining operational procedures
- Research, develop and monitor performance of current and future installations
- User/department relocations and rack/cabinet builds
