POSITION PURPOSE:
The Business Development Specialist is responsible for the following duties:
Developing new accounts and customers for the business through face-to-face customer calls, email and phone enquiries
Fostering and maintaining working relationships and partnerships with existing accounts and customers throughout their geographical areas in Australia
Reviving sales from dormant accounts by renewing their interests in SunTek product offerings and customer service
The position will be responsible for the Victorian, South Australian, Tasmanian and Northern Territory regions.
NB; The successful candidate will need the capacity to work from home.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Align sales revenue target with defined corporate objectives
Meeting or exceeding sales revenue and variable margin targets
Creative in prospecting existing or new retail customers for up-sell/cross-sell opportunities
Demonstrate ability to up-sell and cross-sell additional products/services to existing customers
Attending to all customer enquiries via walk-ins, phone, email and Sales Agent referral
Interface with customers on customer satisfaction issues
Assist in developing and implementing incentive program to drive sales to achieve above and beyond their targets
Proactive improvement in sales process functions
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE and Other Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent discipline
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role. Automotive industry experience advantageous.
Trustworthy person
Strong communication and customer service skills
Proficient skills with Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word and Outlook
Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
