  • Salary: $57,407 - $64,534 gross p.a. plus 11.5% Super
  • 35 hours per week with the option of flexitime / Monday to Friday
  • Nowra Administration Building

About the Role
The Records Search Officer provides thorough and effective research into Council's record systems relating to building and development applications as well as effectively undertaking administration activities within the City Development Directorate of Council. Reporting directly to the Coordinator Administration, the primary focus of this role is to:

  • Provide statistical Reporting on Internal Drainage Diagrams
  • Locate and retrieve information/data on a computerised Records Management System
  • Retrieve building files for daily building inspection bookings and refer to relevant District Building Surveyor
  • Enter/edit and transfer data
  • Typing correspondence
  • Conduct regular file audits within the Division using bar-code scanner
  • Maintain stocks of paper for photocopier, laser printers, fax machine
  • Assist professional staff as required.
  • Answer phone enquiries

About You
To be successful in the position, you will have:

  • Certificate II Business (Recordkeeping) or similar together with relevant experience.
  • Class C Driver's Licence
  • Proof of Australian residency or citizenship
