Equipment Services Technician - Full Time

About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands on manufacturer, engineer or technician to make an active difference in the lives of people with disabilities. You will be responsible for the design, development and manufacture of unique customised seating solutions for our clients at CPA.

Whilst the role is primarily based in our Allambie workshop and clinic there will be weekly travel requirements around the Sydney Metro region, (as well as occasional travel to Wollongong, Canberra and Nowra) to meet with clients and assess their personal needs.

You will be working alongside a team of three other technicians and reporting into the Regional Manager for Northern Sydney. You will also be working closely with clients, families and therapists to discuss their needs and what seating solutions may be possible in order to achieve the best outcome for the client.

What Can You Expect?

  • Design and manufacture unique, customised, quality non-standard seating solutions to meet individual client's needs
  • Maintain awareness of new products and solutions in the external market; utilise findings to inform the design of unique seating solutions
  • Advise manager on differing client needs across geographical locations to ensure the organisation is well-positioned to support a diverse range of client needs
  • Ensure the quality of products adhere to relevant regulations to ensure compliance requirements are met
  • Monitor stock control levels to ensure core products are available to meet agreed delivery schedules.
  • Efficiently implement maintenance requests and repairs within agreed time frame and quoted requirements to ensure client satisfaction levels are maintained and productivity targets are met
  • Liaise with clinicians in the design, development and scoping of client seating specifications to ensure technical solutions are deliverable.
