Job Opportunity: Casual Events Assistant

Are you a self-starter who thrives working independently and enjoys bringing events to life? We’re looking for a Casual Events Assistant to support local events in a regional setting.

Location: Leongatha
Hours: Casual – including evenings and weekends
Work Type: On-site, solo role with flexible hours

What You’ll Be Doing:

Setting up rooms for a variety of community and corporate events

Providing warm and professional customer service to our clients – over the phone, email and in person.

Liaising with cleaning staff to ensure the venue is clean, safe, and ready before and after events

Working autonomously, often outside regular business hours

What We’re Looking For:

Strong customer service skills and a friendly, can-do attitude

Attention to detail and the ability to follow a set list of tasks

Physically fit and able to lift and move furniture and equipment for setup

Comfortable working after hours and weekends as required

Reliable, trustworthy, and able to manage time and tasks independently

Experience in events, hospitality, or facility setup is a plus – but not essential
