As they continue to evolve their offering from desktop-based software to cloud-based SaaS models, the business is seeking a transformational sales leader to take charge of their commercial operations nationally.

About the Role
This is a rare and high-impact leadership opportunity for a senior sales executive with deep experience in technical B2B solution selling. You will be accountable for the full sales performance of both new business and account management teams across Australia, leading the transition to a SaaS-driven model and embedding a high-performance, customer-first sales culture.

Key Responsibilities

Drive execution of the national sales strategy and achieve budgeted revenue targets.

National travel is involved in the role as your team are based all across Australia. You will be working full-time out of the head office in Sydney.

Lead a team of Business Consultants and Account Managers across key verticals. The business consultants are responsible for new revenue which is a key driver to our business and growth whilst the account management division will be reporting to you through a line manager.

Build a high-retention customer base (targeting >85% retention annually).

Develop and coach a capable, accountable salesforce with a strong commercial mindset.

Expand market share across existing and prospective clients with a solutions-focused approach.

Oversee accurate forecasting, pipeline health, and reporting across weekly, monthly, and quarterly intervals.

Collaborate with customer service, product, and marketing teams to deliver end-to-end value.

Represent the business at industry events, customer forums, and strategic partner meetings (including Dassault Systèmes).

Play a hands-on role in complex customer engagements and consultative sales cycles.

Ensure talent acquisition, onboarding, and development plans align with business growth targets.

What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you’ll be a commercially driven leader with a track record of success within a senior position in technology solution sales within the manufacturing or industrial design sectors.

Key Criteria:

10+ years of B2B solution sales experience in ANZ, preferably in CAD/CAM/PLM or ERP software.

Proven experience managing national sales teams (5+ reports) in a $20M+ business.

Strong understanding of SaaS revenue models and enterprise sales processes.

Demonstrated ability to protect and grow a strategic customer base.

Strong forecasting, reporting, and commercial negotiation skills.

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar preferred.

Ability to make tough decisions when they present themselves, we don't want somebody to be buddy buddy with the team and unable to make that call. We require somebody firm and fair.

Comfortable engaging at C-level and presenting at industry events.

Salary and Benefits

$160K - $170K Base Salary

Annual Bonus
