Remuneration: ASO6 ($98,478 - $104,165 per annum) + 11.5% Superannuation
Role Details
The Department for Child Protection is seeking a Senior Project Officer to join the Strategy, Partnerships and Reform team on a full-time term basis.
The role is responsible for:
Leading the planning, development, and delivery of projects, while preparing clear, high-quality briefings and reports.
Monitoring and advising on trends and best practices in child protection.
Assisting the Senior Manager by providing leadership and guidance to achieve work plans and objectives.
Understanding and applying relevant legislation, including contributing to the development of regulations and official documents.
To be successful:
You will be a confident individual with significant experience in leading project planning, implementation, and outcome monitoring. You will have a proven ability to identify and deliver strategic and operational outcomes in a sensitive and complex environment, along with experience in developing complex policy and conducting thorough analysis and research. Significant experience in leading the development of project planning, implementation, and monitoring is essential.
You will also have strong knowledge and understanding of best practice to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children.
