Remuneration: ASO7 ($108,109 - $116,864 per annum) + 11.5% Superannuation
Role Details
The Department for Child Protection is seeking a Lead Project Officer to join on a full-time term basis to provide high level strategic leadership and expertise.
The role is responsible for:
Leading the design, development and implementation of projects, policies and procedures to support service reform and quality outcomes.
Writing clear, well-structured briefings, reports and communication materials within required timeframes.
Coordinating consultation and engagement with delivery partners, government agencies, advisory groups and community stakeholders.
Researching, analysing and interpreting data to ensure effective, timely and high-quality project outcomes.
Supporting the Senior Manager by providing guidance and contributing to team leadership and achievement of goals.
To be successful:
You will have a proven ability to work under broad direction and manage conflicting priorities to achieve objectives and meet deadlines within a challenging and changing environment. You will also possess excellent writing skills, with demonstrated experience in preparing concise and comprehensive briefings, reports, and advice on complex issues. A strong knowledge and understanding of best practice in supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families is essential, with a focus on ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children.
