About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Allied Health Assistant (AHA) to join the team at Pop, where you'll play a key role in supporting our Speech Pathologists and enhancing client care. This dynamic position involves both clinical and administrative responsibilities, providing you with a well-rounded experience in a supportive healthcare environment.
This is a casual position (2 days per week) and will be based on-site in our office in Hawthorne, Brisbane.
A typical day as an AHA at Pop could look like a mix between
Conducting clinical telehealth sessions for clients under the care of a Pop Speech Pathologist
Creating physical documents or resources & posting them to clients
Data entry for reports (scoring assessments, adding background history information & data)
Completing screening assessments as required
Using Canva to create handouts & resources on behalf of therapists
In-person office management tasks
Preparing and sending mail as required
Customer Service - answering incoming phone calls

You’re Brisbane based
You have availability of 2 days per week
You’re currently studying a bachelor or masters of Speech Pathology
You’re happy to work in a team and learn new processes and systems
You’re passionate about Speech pathology and making a difference in the lives of others!
You’re tech-savvy & feel confident learning new systems and processes
You’re a problem-solver, always providing potential solutions when issues arise
You have outstanding time management, task prioritisation and attention to detail skills
