We are seeking an enthusiastic Allied Health Assistant to become a part of our rehabilitation team.

About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Allied Health Assistant to join our rehab team at Robina Private Hospital. As an Allied Health Assistant, you will provide both clinical and non-clinical support to the rehabilitation team (physio’s, OT’s, speech therapist etc), working with a range of both inpatients and outpatients.

About Us:

Robina Private Hospital is a 90 bed private hospital located opposite Robina Public Hospital. We have a 15 bed physical rehabilitation ward providing inpatient rehabilitation and day therapy programs to a variety of patients including neurological, orthopaedic, falls, and pre-/post-surgery.

Mandatory qualifications and experience:

Certificate III or IV Allied Health Assistance

Current (less than 3 months) National Criminal History check (or agreement to obtain prior to commencing employment)

Desirable but not essential:

Experience working in a rehabilitation/inpatient ward

Experience working in a multidisciplinary team

Experience working with a broad case mix including stroke, joint replacements, chronic pain, neurological conditions such as Parkinson's Disease

Personal attributes:

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to work autonomously and in a team

High level of organizational and time management skills

Ensuring a high standard of care is provided to patients and their families/carers
