An opportunity exists for a driven and ambitious Assistant Project Manager (APM) to join a high-performing property and development management team based in Sydney, NSW.
This is a full-time position offering significant exposure to landmark projects across the residential, mixed-use, commercial, and hotel sectors, ranging in value from $20M to $150M+.

About the Role:
Working directly alongside a Senior Development Manager, the Assistant Project Manager will play a vital role in ensuring project milestones are achieved efficiently and to the highest standard.

This is not a passive coordination role — the successful applicant will be an active contributor at every project stage, gaining hands-on experience with all aspects of delivery, client interaction, and consultant management.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing project programs, deliverables, and consultant outputs.

Identifying scope changes early and proactively managing risks.

Participating in site visits, stakeholder meetings, and council engagements.

Driving project timelines with precision and urgency.

Communicating clearly with internal and external parties, ensuring no detail is missed.

Ideal Candidate:

1–3 years’ experience in property development, project management consulting, or construction environments.

Highly organised, self-motivated, and solutions-oriented.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage tasks independently and prioritise under pressure.

Familiarity with project reporting, programming (Excel, Smartsheet, MS Project), and basic contract administration is desirable.

Bonus Points for:

Previous experience with developers, builders, or advisory firms.

Exposure to preparing board or project reports, minutes, and contract documents.
