Overview
The School of Science at Edith Cowan University (ECU) is looking for an individual who is experienced in the broad spectrum of activities in Communication. Under the general direction of the Operations Manager, this role is responsible for supporting the broad spectrum of communications for the School of Science. This will include the effective development and maintenance of Collaborative Online Tools (Teams and SharePoint), the School Internet/Intranet, Marketing Collaterals upkeep and development, School related Social Media Sites, School Electronic Display content, Document Storage organisation and establishment, Power BI/Microsoft Fabric support the Customer Relationship Management System (Salesforce), and other creative projects as required.
This role requires high level communications and organisational skills to gather key stakeholders’ visionary requirements and develop the solution. This position will play an integral role in enhancing the School’s digital presence and internal communications systems. This will suit an individual who is self-motivated, innovative, and thrives on working in a busy and complex work environment.
Selection Criteria
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and at least 4 years subsequent relevant experience OR equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation;
- Demonstrated proficiency in providing communications support, particularly with regards to the development and management of the systems and activities mentioned above.
- Demonstrated high level organisational customer service and time management skills with the ability to prioritise numerous competing tasks with minimal supervision to meet deadlines and ensure targeted quality outcomes;
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging content for a varied audience across multiple platforms;
- Interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop good relationships across departments and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Benefits & Remuneration
This ongoing contract attracts the remuneration of $92,087 - $99,353 plus up to 17% University superannuation contribution.
