About you
You are an enthusiastic marketing and communications professional who enjoys working in a high-performing and collaborative team. You have a few years’ experience in creating engaging and accurate web content. You have demonstrated experience using a web content management system, and experience using Squiz Matrix is desirable. You are good at managing multiple projects and have a strong attention to detail. You can deliver work on time and to a high standard. You enjoy building strong working relationships within your team, centre, and the wider ECU community.
You excel in managing priorities to meet deadlines and ensuring resources are effectively applied to the most impactful content.

About the role
Reporting to the Web Experience Manager, you will support a range of web content activities, including:
- Supporting the university’s distributed web authors to produce web content that complies with policies and standards.
- Monitoring and assessing ECU web properties for accessibility, reliability & performance.
- Providing web authors advice on policy and strategic web initiatives.
- Assisting web authors with compliance against ECU’s brand guidelines, corporate style guides and appropriate use of ECU logo.
- Show an aptitude for robust data analytics and a willingness to use third-party website governance and monitoring tools, job tracking software, and data visualisation tools.
Role Criteria
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation.
- Relevant experience coordinating and delivering accessible and engaging web content via a web content management system.
- The ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders in a large and complex organisation, with a strong focus on excellent customer service.
- Strong skills in web accessibility and working knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
- Effective communication skills and impeccable attention to detail.
Benefits & Remuneration
This full-time, fixed-term position attracts remuneration of $92,087 to $99,353 per annum plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
