The Opportunity

We are seeking expressions of interest from:

• UX/UI Designers
• Lead User Researchers
• Service Designers
• Design Leads with HCD or Agile experience

Roles are expected to support major digital platforms across health, aged care, social services, and regulatory programs. You will collaborate with stakeholders, business teams, and agile delivery squads to improve citizen-facing services through design, research, and continuous feedback.

The Role

As a design and research professional, you may:

• Conduct user research, testing, and insight gathering across digital products
• Design intuitive and visually engaging interfaces aligned with user needs
• Contribute to and maintain scalable design systems
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business areas
• Champion user-centred approaches across multidisciplinary teams
• Present research and design decisions to executive and delivery stakeholders

The Ideal Person

• Experience in agile delivery teams within government or large organisations
• Strong practical skills in tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or equivalent
• The ability to communicate complex design ideas clearly and effectively
• A user-first mindset with a focus on service outcomes and accessibility
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills

Relevant qualifications in Design, HCI, Psychology, or a related field are valued.

Salary / Rate

• $120/hr – $150/hr including Superannuation
• 12-month positions with extension options
• Australian Citizenship required
• Ability to obtain security clearances if required
