About Liquor & Gaming NSW
We are at the pointy end of industry supervision for the liquor, gaming, wagering, casino and registered club sectors in NSW. If you want a seat at the table, whether we’re reviewing the latest facial recognition technology; advising Government on gambling reform policy; developing initiatives to increase live music venues and festivals; or investigating unlawful liquor or gambling inducement practices, we want to talk to you.

About the role
Coordinate and supervise a team of professionals conducting casino-focused inspections and provide specialist expertise to promote and ensure regulatory compliance with applicable legislation and other obligations in casino operations.
The role is subject to flexible work arrangements, however it is Sydney-based, with an expectation to attend one or more casinos and the departmental office several times per week.

About You
We are looking for a candidate able to demonstrate the following:
Working in a compliance role within a diverse regulatory and legislative environment
Coordinating and supervising a team of professionals conducting compliance -focused inspections
Promoting and ensuring regulatory compliance with applicable legislation and obligations
Essential requirements
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent relevant professional experience.
Appointment and ongoing assignment are subject to satisfactorily meeting and maintaining requirements to be appointed as an Inspector under relevant legislation.
Appointment and ongoing assignment are subject to satisfactorily meeting and maintaining pre-employment and ongoing probity screening requirements and the integrity standards set out in relevant Legislation and/or related policies.
The person occupying the role will be designated as a key official under section 16 of the Gaming and Liquor Administration Act 2007 and may be subject to restrictions, such as restrictions on attending certain premises.
Willingness and availability to meet the shift-work requirements of the role.
A current Class C Driver Licence
