Role Overview:

As the Venue Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service, team efficiency, and high customer satisfaction. You’ll lead and inspire our front-of-house team, manage bookings and events, and play a key role in maintaining our venue’s reputation as a top local dining destination.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the venue, including front-of-house staff and service standards.

Manage staff schedules, training, and performance.

Ensure exceptional customer service and handle customer feedback or complaints professionally.

Monitor inventory and coordinate with the kitchen and suppliers to ensure efficient stock management.

Work closely with ownership/management on budgeting, reporting, and operational improvements.

Organise and manage events, bookings, and in-house events.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.

Requirements:

Proven experience in hospitality management, preferably in a high-volume setting.

Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.

Ability to remain calm and organised in a fast-paced environment.

Maintaining POS system, basic financial reporting, and inventory management.

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as needed.

A passion for food, service, and creating memorable guest experiences.
