Weighbridge Operator

Australian owned Food Manufacturer and supplier of oleos, oils, fats, and margarines is seeking a Weighbridge Operator.

Peerless Foods supplies a diverse range of products to local and overseas markets.
Reporting to the Raw Materials and Transport Manager this role requires a person to ensure the accurate weighing of materials both received and dispatched.

Some of the tasks associated with this role include:

· Weighing all materials received as well as dispatched and public weighs.

· Invoicing (as required) for outgoing loads.

· Raw material data entry for daily loads

· Generate driver’s run dockets.

· Maintenance of runs (order of pickups etc.).

· Maintenance of Supplier Masters.

· CN3 troubleshooting & driver training.

· Set up new drivers and trucks as required.

· Responsible for alerting any problems relating to traffic control on site (traffic lights).

· Ensuring sensors are operational.

· Courier deliveries to w/bridge advising appropriate dept.

· Ensuring that the auto system computer has enough tally rolls for overnight/week-end use.

· Ensuring that couriers as well as subcontractors sign in and out daily or when required.

· To ensure that raw material loads are off loaded correctly (some are split loads).

· As required, to assist in any other area as required.
