We’re on the lookout for a confident and capable Duty Manager to join our leadership team. This full-time position is perfect for an experienced supervisor ready to step up, or a seasoned manager looking for a fresh start in a well-established and community-focused venue.

About the Role: As Duty Manager, this will be a hands on role where you'll be responsible for overseeing daily operations of our clubhouse, ensuring exceptional service delivery across our bar, bistro, and function spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage and lead front-of-house team members

· Oversee service standards across all areas

· Oversee our daily operations including presentation of the venue, cash management and rostering

· Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and standards including but not limited to liquor, gaming, our enterprise agreement and work, health & safety

· Coordinate function and event operations

· Maintain stock control and inventory management

· Drive revenue growth through excellent customer service

· Support team training and development

Essential Requirements:

· Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role within hospitality

· Current RSA and RCG, ARCG certificates

· Proven leadership and team management skills

· Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

· Available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

· Experience in gaming operations (preferred)

Applicants will need to be able to demonstrate and provide evidence of:

· Previous Duty Manager or Supervisory experience within the hospitality industry

· A good working knowledge and experience across all Club operational areas including a thorough knowledge of gaming, bar service, TAB and Keno operations.

· Current NSW RSA, RCG certification & ARCG certification.

· Outstanding people skills with an extremely strong focus on customer service.

· Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.

· The ability to lead, supervise and mentor all staff and ensure all operations are running smoothly and efficiently.

· An ability to work predominantly nights and weekends.

· Cash handling experience and a capability to perform daily banking tasks.

· Being computer literate with experience in Microsoft Word and Excel
