About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Diploma Qualified Room Leader to join our team at Noah's Ark Early Learning in Rivett, ACT. As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality educational programs that support the growth and development of children in our 3-4years space. We are looking for a full-time educator with the option of Rostered Days Off.

What you'll be doing

• Designing and implementing engaging, age-appropriate educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework
• Fostering a nurturing, stimulating and inclusive learning environment that meets the individual needs of each child
• Observing and documenting children's progress, and using this information to inform future planning and teaching strategies
• Building positive relationships with children, families and the broader community
• Actively participating in team meetings, professional development opportunities and continuous quality improvement initiatives
• Ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of all children in your care
• Adhering to all relevant legislation, regulations and Noahs ark Early Learning's policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Diploma In children's Services or equivalent qualification
• Demonstrated experience in planning and delivering high-quality educational programs for children aged 0-5 years
• Strong understanding of child development and the ability to cater to the individual needs of each child
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
• Current First Aid certificate, including emergency asthma and anaphylaxis management training
• ACT Working with people check (or willingness to obtain one)
