It’s a vital leadership role with real and lasting impact.
Country Hope is a family-focused regional charity supporting children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
Their team works across Wagga Wagga, Albury, Dubbo, Griffith and surrounding areas, offering tailored emotional, practical, and financial support to families in crisis.
As General Manager, you’ll be right at the heart of it.
Leading the organisation with clarity and compassion.
Guiding a passionate, regional team of eight across multiple sites.
Bringing strategic plans to life through communications, fundraising, and volunteer engagement.
Keeping operations running smoothly, ethically, and sustainably.
You’ll be trusted to take the reins, working closely with an engaged Board and a Chair who will back your leadership and give you the space to lead.
You’ll be responsible for delivering both annual and long-term strategies.
Managing budgets and resources.
Supporting staff and creating a strong, connected team culture.
Reporting to the Board on governance, finances, and risk.
Driving donor engagement, community events, and grant opportunities.
Representing Country Hope with partners, media, and the wider community.
This is a role for someone who can hold the big picture and still stay grounded in the day-to-day.
Someone who has led teams, managed budgets, built meaningful relationships, and truly cares about the wellbeing of regional communities.
Experience in not-for-profit, health, education, or community services will be highly regarded.
But above all, we’re looking for emotional intelligence, adaptability, and a genuine drive to do good.
You’ll be supported with flexibility, five weeks annual leave, professional development opportunities, and a salary package of $125k plus super.
