We are currently partnering with a respected engineering consultancy to identify a strategic and relationship-driven Account Manager. This role offers a unique opportunity to work within a high-performing business development team, with a strong focus on expanding existing client accounts and reactivating dormant relationships.

Our client provides multidisciplinary engineering, design, and project delivery services to a diverse portfolio of clients across industrial and infrastructure sectors. With a strong market reputation and a collaborative internal culture, they offer the right candidate the platform to make a genuine commercial impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a defined portfolio of existing and former clients through strategic engagement and solution-based selling.
  • Identify commercial opportunities within current accounts, with an emphasis on cross-selling and expanding service penetration.
  • Work collaboratively with internal engineering and technical teams to tailor solutions aligned with client needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and updates in CRM (Pipedrive) and contribute to business development meetings and planning.
  • Represent the business professionally across meetings, presentations, and project scoping sessions.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have a proven background in account management or business development within an engineering or technical services environment, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and deliver commercial outcomes.
You will bring:

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in account management, client development or sales within technical or engineering services.
  • Proven ability to manage pipelines, close opportunities, and influence commercial outcomes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including client presentations and proposals.
  • High degree of professionalism, integrity, and commercial maturity.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical experts while maintaining a client-focused perspective.
