Tailored Recruitment is currently working with a national utility services provider that supports multi-tenanted residential, commercial and industrial buildings across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. Due to continued growth, they’re seeking a highly organised assistant to step into the role of account manager supporting two highly regarded and well known business development managers who both come from strata backgrounds themselves. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone from either a body corporate, property management or utilities background with a deep understanding of compliance, stakeholder communication, and service coordination. You’ll be joining a stable, well-structured business with genuine room for progression including the option to move into a Business Development Manager role if that’s of interest.
About the Role
In this role, you’ll work closely with internal teams, two business development managers and external stakeholders to manage key buildings, drive service delivery, and ensure all contractual and compliance requirements are met.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Portfolio Management
- Act as the primary contact for a portfolio of commercial and residential buildings
- Build strong client relationships and ensure high satisfaction and retention
- Be a pivotal point of contact to assist your team members out on the road with any support or onboarding requirements they need from you
- Coordinate service delivery and resolve any issues that arise throughout the onboarding process
- Attendance at events and client functions to further enhance existing relationships.
- Manage onboarding timelines, budgets, and deliverables
- Liaise with internal departments (billing, operations, customer service) to ensure a smooth transition
- Ensure all contracts are compliant, current, and well-documented
- Lead the contract renewal process and recommend improvements based on client feedback
- Liaise with service teams and communicate planned downtime or repair updates
- Keep clear and auditable records of maintenance history
- Ensure maintenance requests are acknowledged and actioned within set timeframes
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience in account management, strata, or property management or experienced PA/ strata assistant or previous property management background
- Knowledge of compliance obligations and industry regulations
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work across departments and coordinate service outcomes
- Ambition to grow – with the option to move into a BDM role in future

- 24-hour response to client queries
- 48-hour turnaround for maintenance requests
- Timely and efficient onboarding of new buildings
