Production Manager – Tasmania’s Taste of Summer Festival

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Production Manager to oversee the planning and delivery of the Taste of Summer festival. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in high-energy environments, is solutions-focused, and wants to contribute to a vibrant cultural event that celebrates Tasmania’s best food, drink, music and community.
What you’ll be doing
As Production Manager, you will:
Lead the development of the full production schedule, including bump in/out, technical installs, build timelines, and infrastructure logistics.
Coordinate all supplier communications, logistics, transport, and quoting.
Manage the site crew, contractors, and suppliers on the ground.
Ensure timelines and budget targets are met.
Oversee inductions, WHS documentation, and emergency management compliance.
What we’re looking for
Proven experience in large-scale event production and project management.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Confidence in leading teams and managing fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; scheduling software experience is a bonus.
A flexible, collaborative approach and a can-do attitude.

Contract Duration: July 2025 – January 2026
