Major laundry company requires an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Fitter with an understanding of fast paced production and the ability to work within a close-knit team to work in a well-established company offering secure work close to public transport

Permanent Full-Time – Monday to Friday with weekly rotating shifts between morning and afternoon

o Day shift: 430am to 12:30pm – 6:00am to 2:00pm

o Afternoon shift: 2:00pm to 10:00pm.

The Role:

We are currently seeking a skilled a Mechanical Fitter to join our Maintenance Team on a Full-Time basis, working Monday to Friday across rotating shifts—Morning and Afternoon. These are hands-on trade roles based at our clients Banyo site, supporting the upkeep, safety, and efficiency of plant operations. You'll work as part of a collaborative team to maintain, install, repair, and improve industrial equipment and systems to ensure the smooth running and upkeep of the plant and equipment.

Role Responsibilities:

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of laundry production equipment.

Diagnose and troubleshoot faults and assist with preventing issues before they start.

Liasie with the Maintenance Manager and Operations Manager to understand operational requirements to minimise disruptions.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance processes and procedures.

Ensure a safe working environment and comply with all health and safety regulations.

· Current trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter.

· Experience working in an industrial or plant-based environment.

· Strong mechanical, troubleshooting skills.

· Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding abilities.

· Good communication skills to liaise effectively with production and maintenance.
