2025 is well underway & Our company is looking for a motivated, Mechanical fitter - Hydraulic fitter , based Lawnton Queensland , pay and conditions negotiable, $45-55ph depending on experience.

What you'll be doing

Inspect, diagnose and repair hydraulic equipment and plant equipment

Install, maintain and service a variety of hydraulic and machinery components and systems

Fabricate and modify equipment to customer specifications

Analyse and troubleshoot hydraulic systems to identify and resolve issues

Perform preventative maintenance on hydraulic systems, machinery and plant

Maintain detailed records and documentation of all work performed

Collaborate with the engineering team to improve hydraulic system designs

Use of manual lathes and milling machines

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in Mechanical Fitting or Hydraulics, with a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience

Strong practical skills in the engineering trade, installation and maintenance of various plant and equipment

Proficient in the use of hydraulic test equipment, power tools and workshop machinery

Problem-solving and diagnostic skills to identify and resolve complex issues

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to high quality standards

Effective communication skills to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
