About the Role

CQ Diesel Fitting is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diesel Fitter | HD Fitter | HD Mechanic to join our Brisbane team. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, offering a competitive hourly rate, field service work , and a great opportunity to be part of a supportive and growing team.

What You’ll Be Doing

Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of heavy-duty diesel-powered equipment, including trucks, earthmoving machinery, cranes, and other industrial vehicles.

Performing scheduled maintenance and servicing to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Conducting on-site repairs, roadside assistance, and field service work using a company utility vehicle.

Maintaining detailed records of all work performed.

Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

Collaborating with the wider team to share knowledge and best practices.

What We’re Looking For

Trade-qualified Diesel Fitter, Heavy Duty Mechanic, or similar.

Experience in truck and trailer maintenance (highly regarded).

Field service experience preferred.

Crane maintenance and inspection experience (highly regarded).

Current Queensland C Class driver licence (HR or MC ideal).

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and functional assessment.

Excellent diagnostic, technical, and problem-solving skills.

Strong organisational and time management skills.

Commitment to quality workmanship and safe work practices.

A collaborative attitude and willingness to support the team.
