Bad Backs is seeking a multi talented person to manage their Fairfield retail showroom and website operations centre. This is a full-time, permanent position and includes use of the company van for commuting to work and work related deliveries.

Bad Backs was established in 2004 and is one of Australia's leading suppliers of high quality home furniture, zero gravity recliners, ergonomic office chairs, desks and hundreds of therapeutic products. With stores in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, this is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing retail, corporate and online business in the ergonomic product marketplace.

We are looking for the right person to grow with the business. The successful candidate will be a self-starter and happy to work independently, with excellent people skills and will have proven themselves preferably within a sales, operations or retail store environment (although this is not essential). If you love the satisfaction of genuinely helping people, are an effective communicator and have organisational and telephone skills, then we'd love to hear from you.

This is a 5 day a week role which includes Saturday.

As the successful applicant you will possess:

Good listening and communication skills and a mature manner

Ability to prioritize and multi-task

Ability to work with the team and independently

Eagerness to find solutions for customers, and to go above and beyond in customer service

Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)

Ability to assemble simple chairs/desks and undertake simple repairs

Ability to process and package online orders for shipment and pick up
