We are looking for a hands-on and driven Production Planner who will own the daily production schedule to ensure that the Weekly Master Production Schedule is being achieved. What You’ll Be Doing:

Manage the site schedule items to ensure effective and efficient resource utilisation and constraint consideration.

Meet weekly to timetable for the generation and agreement of the MPS and site schedule. Review and update the site schedule weekly for allocated production lines.

Provide product availability dates to internal stakeholders for nominated finished goods.

Review domestic stock coverage to ensure production has been scheduled accordingly and look at export production to ensure sufficient timing to meet container loading and shipment dates are met.

Work with the purchasing team and site staff to ensure materials and components are available to meet the MPS & site schedule.

Participate in the monthly S&OP process, monthly Site Supply Review meetings for production sign off, review longer term production plans.

Work on continuous improvement within your own work, and that of the business to ensure we are always working as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Work within SAP to ensure that the planning master data is correct, managed accordingly to ensure published plans are met and BoMs and routings are reflective of current items and processes.

We’re looking for someone with:

A degree in engineering, marketing, business management, commerce or a related discipline.

APICS CPIM Certification.

A minimum of 5 years' experience in multisite planning and scheduling.

A minimum of 5 years' experience in a site scheduling/planning role at a manufacturing or FMCG business.

A minimum of 5 years' experience using SAP or a similar ERP.

The ability to lead and influence a cross functional team.

High computer literacy, especially in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel)

Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Demonstrated strong organisational and time management skills.
