Key Responsibilities:
· Analyze and optimize pouch-making processes to maximize output while maintaining high-quality standards.
· Oversee the performance and maintenance of pouch-making machines, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum equipment uptime.
· Monitor and improve production processes on pouch-making machines.
· Troubleshoot machine and process issues to minimize downtime and material waste
· Work closely with maintenance, quality control, and production teams to ensure that all operational processes meet high standards for safety, efficiency, and quality.
· Lead initiatives for process improvements and efficiency gains through the application of lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement techniques, and data analysis.
· Provide training to operators and other team members on equipment operation, best practices, and safety standards.
· Lead or support the implementation of process improvement projects, from concept to execution, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
· Maintain accurate records of production data, downtime, maintenance activities, and any corrective actions taken. Prepare and present performance reports as needed.
· Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and work closely with the safety team to identify and mitigate potential hazards on the production floor.
Requirements:
· Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience)
· Previous experience in pouch-making, flexible packaging, or similar manufacturing environment
· Familiarity with pouch sealing, cutting, and forming technologies
· Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
· Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement techniques
· Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
· Hands-on and proactive approach to process improvement and team collaboration
