About the role
In your new role, you'll be hands-on in the production of custom timber crates and pallets, assembling components and operating docking saws to cut timber to size. You'll ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to customer specifications, maintaining high quality and meeting deadlines.

Duties

• Assemble timber crates and pallets according to measurements, cut-sheets, and customer specifications.
• Operate docking saws, nail guns, and other tools safely and efficiently.
• Measure, verify, and adjust components to meet quality and order standards.
• Identify and select appropriate timbers, minimising waste and ensuring export compliance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment in line with WH&S policies.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
• Support stock movement, including forklift operation (if licensed), and report equipment issues.
• Collaborate with team leaders and participate in training as required.

Requirements

• Proven commitment to safety and understanding of WH&S procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret cut-sheets, measurements, and specifications.
• Experience using woodworking machinery and hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance standards.
• Ability to identify different timber types, including export-grade materials.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Forklift licence
• Reliable, adaptable, and team-focused work ethic.
