Our Client:

Our client is a a leading distributor and OEM of vacuum trucks, hydro-excavation units, drain-cleaning systems, and street sweepers in Queensland and across AU. They specialise in servicing, repairing, and selling vacuum trucks for a wide range of clients.

The Role:

As a Plant Mechanic, you will be performing the following duties but not limited to:

• Perform scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on vacuum trucks and related equipment.
• Conduct inspections and servicing on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
• Work closely with the workshop team to ensure fast turnaround and high-quality work
• Support installation and pre-delivery of new vehicles sold through the client
• Complete documentation and service reports accurately.

Selection Criteria:

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Trade certificate in Plant Mechanic, Mechanical Fitter, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Diesel Fitter, or similar.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Preferrably experience working on trucks, earthmoving, or industrial equipment
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Reliable and committed with a strong safety focus.
