Statewide Vehicle Hoists and Repairs has been servicing and installing vehicle hoists across Sth East Queensland for over 25 years. We’re a well-established, family-oriented business based in Redbank Plains, and we're looking for a new Hoist Technician / Installer to join our team.

This is a full-time position with a standard 38-hour work week, above-award wages, and full on-the-job training – ideal for someone with general mechanical know-how who wants to develop practical skills in a niche but growing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, service, and repair a wide range of vehicle hoists at client sites.

Assist with workshop and yard duties, including basic maintenance tasks.

Use an Android tablet and Microsoft Excel to complete service reports.

Drive to various locations across SEQ as part of our mobile service team.

Ensure high-quality workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction at all times.

Skills & Experience:

You don’t need formal trade qualifications – just a strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

We’re looking for someone who has:

Hands-on experience using tools and equipment.

Good physical fitness – capable of lifting and moving heavy items.

Excellent attention to detail – you don’t take shortcuts.

A positive, can-do attitude with good communication skills.

The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A full, open manual driver’s licence.

Neat, clean presentation and a focus on professional customer service.

Basic tech skills – you’re comfortable using a smartphone or tablet.

Preferred:

Lives locally (Redbank region) – we start early at 7:00 am.

Can obtain or already owns steel cap boots.
