At Pristine Pools Canberra, we’re more than a pool company, we’re a trusted name in the ACT and Eurobodalla regions for quality pool maintenance and bespoke pool construction. With over a decade of experience and a growing team of dedicated professionals, we’re now poised for our next big leap: scaling our pool construction division while continuing to deliver the outstanding service our clients know and love. As we target significant growth to reach $4 million turnover by mid-2026, we’re looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join us in shaping that future.

About the Role

As Chief Operating Officer (COO) in this newly created role, you will be the engine room of the business, leading daily operations, executing strategy, and driving growth in both pool maintenance and construction. As COO you’ll work closely with the Director to take bold steps in expanding our pool building services and developing streamlined, scalable systems that allow the business to grow without sacrificing quality or culture.

As COO you will take ownership of operational leadership, project delivery, team performance, and business development initiatives - bringing clarity, pace, and cohesion to all aspects of execution.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and optimise all operational areas of the business, including both maintenance and pool construction

Build, lead, and inspire a team of technicians and office staff

Develop and implement systems, processes, and KPIs to ensure scalability

Work alongside the Director to define strategic direction and drive profitability

Ensure smooth project delivery across new builds and services

Lead recruitment, workforce planning, and team culture

About You

As Chief Operating Officer (COO), you’ll be a charismatic, driven and experienced operations leader ready to make your mark. You’ll be someone who thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments and have a knack for turning vision into reality. You’re hands-on, resilient, and values-driven, with a passion for building teams and delivering operational excellence.

Has strong experience leading trades-based, construction, or service businesses

Is systems-focused, commercially astute, and understands project delivery

Brings high emotional intelligence and can rally a close-knit team around a shared vision

Is highly organised, solutions-oriented, and comfortable being both strategic and operational

Has a proven ability to drive growth while maintaining a strong team culture
