We are committed to excellence in every project and are seeking an experienced Metal Roofing Supervisor to lead and oversee our roofing teams on the southside of Brisbane.

Qualifications & experience

Experience as a metal roofer is preferred or experience in a supervisory or lead role

Strong knowledge of different metal roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Proficiency in reading plans, technical drawings, and project specifications

Strong focus on safety and quality control

Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.

Must have a white card

Must be able to use a computer

Tasks & responsibilities

Oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of metal roofing systems

Manage roofing crews, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and in line with project plans and specifications

Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, safety standards, and quality control measures

Conduct site inspections and identify potential issues or improvements

Communicate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns

Train and mentor roofing staff, particularly apprentices and junior team members

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times

Manage materials and inventory on-site to prevent delays and wastage

Prepare reports on project status, materials usage, and team performance

Collaborate with project managers and estimators to meet project goals
