THE OPPORTUNITY
This leadership position is both a hands on + strategic role that combines finance business partnering with making sense of large data sets, using SQL, Excell, Powerbi and Databricks.
Managing a team of 2-3, you will be relied upon by marketing, sales and operations to provide dashboards, proofs of concept, maintain data assets and build complex data models.
You will use your SQL, Excel and PowerBI (or similar system like Tableau) skills combined with your communicaton & business parterning abilities to answer
questions like:
- How many leads did we generate from XYZ marketing activity?
- What is our average "cost to serve" and how is that different to the previous financial year?
- If we tender for X amount of companies quoting Y amount for our services, what will our revenue and profitability be?

A BIT ABOUT YOU
We are seeking a highly commercial Business Performance Manager with a proven track record in leading successful teams.
You will have a combination of SQL, Excel, PowerBi (or similar) skills COMBINED with highly effective business partnering and leadership skills.
You will thrive in a role where you solve problems for your stakeholders,
manipulating large data sets to provide visibility and accurate predictions basedon predicted variables. Please hit APPLY if this sounds like you:
- You have SQL, Advanced Excel AND PowerBi (or tableau) experience. Nice to have - databricks
- Exceptional business partnering skills including having liaised with C-suite executives
- Have directly managed a team of 1-3+ analysts
- Enjoy problem solving & are proactive in seeking out opportunties to deliver value/ insights to the business
- Have experience building regression models, an interest in statistics/ mathematics (nice to have, not essential)
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science or
similar

Salary is c. $200-215,000 including superannuation, + c. 12.5% bonus
