Design & Build have partnered with a growing Australian business that has a long history of making a real impact in the energy space delivering large-scale transmission, HV Substation & Renewable Energy projects across the country.

With major new projects kicking off, they’re now on the lookout for an Engineering Manager to step into a pivotal role.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you’ll lead the charge on high voltage project delivery across Australia and overseeing design, managing stakeholders, and driving outcomes on some of the country’s most important energy infrastructure.

• $150-180k + Super (guideline, flexible for the right candidate)

• Work with a growing company (double in sized in last 12 months, on track to double again) within the Renewable Energy Sector.
• Senior role, reporting to the MD, with real ability to influence.

As the Engineering Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Optimise both technical and commercial solutions for HV projects in the energy sector
• Oversee projects at all phases (start-up, design, manufacturing, construction, commissioning, completion)
• Develop and manage relationships with suppliers such as design partners and subcontractors
• Support contract management.
• Manage relationships with client and customers to provide first class relationships.

What experience can you bring?

• Degree qualified, ideally in electrical engineering
• Experienced in the design management of HV substations (33kv and upwards), Solar farms, Bess or similar major renewable energy projects.
• Hands on, used to working in small teams, able to adapt to client requirements
• Strong personal values and a team player
