Are you an experienced operations leader with a strong background in commercial cleaning? We’re looking for a proactive and driven Operations Manager to lead service delivery across the Central West region of NSW.

About the Role

As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of multiple cleaning contracts across the region. You’ll lead site teams, ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, manage client relationships, and support business growth through outstanding operational delivery.

This is a hands-on role — you must be prepared to step in and perform cleaning duties when required to support the team and maintain service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and support a portfolio of commercial cleaning contracts

Lead, train and supervise site-based teams to meet KPIs and client expectations

Conduct site inspections, audits and quality assurance reviews

Drive compliance with WHS, environmental, and company policies

Build and maintain strong client relationships

Manage rostering, recruitment, and staff performance

Identify opportunities for operational improvements and efficiencies

Be prepared to undertake cleaning tasks if required to support operational needs

MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 3 years’ experience in an Operations or Area Manager role within the commercial cleaning industry

Proven ability to lead and motivate site-based teams

Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, chemicals, and safety standards

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines

A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel across the region

Willingness to perform cleaning duties when necessary
