This is a CEO role that calls for presence, commercial flair, and the ability to galvanise people around a vision. You’ll be highly visible across the organisation — engaging with the membership, listening to staff, and empowering a passionate executive team. You’ll bring a creative, entrepreneurial mindset and the credibility to spot adjacent opportunities, leverage the Institute’s digital edge, and build new value for members and the community. Demanding the balance of entity leadership and member service, this CEO will carry the mandate to innovate, empower and drive the future of the sector, and REIWA’s place as the catalyst. Other key focus areas of this position will include strategic authorship in partnership with the Board, talent leadership, financial management and governance.

Your background might not be in real estate — and that’s fine. What matters is your track record of leading people, growing businesses, and shaping culture. You’ll be as comfortable on the floor with your team as you are speaking at a conference or steering commercial decisions at Council level. What will further interest us in your application is your proven ability to inspire, to articulate a vision and to execute the plan through empowering others and engaging stakeholders at all levels. An entrepreneurial flair to drive innovation and deliver value to members is paramount.
