About the role

Dr Christy Graff is seeking a Casual medical receptionist to join their team in Elizabeth Vale SA 5112, working for 1-2 days a week initially. This is a casual role, providing you with the flexibility to work around your other commitments. As a medical receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients, playing a vital role in ensuring a smooth, professional and friendly experience for all who visit the practice.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming patients as they arrive at the practice

Scheduling and managing patient appointments, including booking, rescheduling and cancellations

Taking payment for appointments and liaising with Dr Graff's PA for billing practices

Handling phone inquiries from patients and other healthcare providers

Assisting with general administrative duties as required and reporting to Dr Graff and her PA

Maintaining a high level of customer service and confidentiality at all times

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a medical reception or customer service role

Strong organisational and time management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proven ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

Preferably proficient in using medical software (Gentu) and Microsoft Office suite

Understanding of medical terminology and confidentiality practices
