Job description:
The Opportunity: We're seeking a results-driven Area Sales Manager to take the reins of a well-established territory spanning South Australia and the Northern Territory. This is a high-impact role selling various sizes of new and used forklifts and growing our presence in the rental market. You'll have the autonomy to manage your region, backed by a respected brand, a solid customer base, and uncapped commissions on top of a competitive base salary. If you're an experienced technical salesperson ready for your next challenge, this is it. What we are looking for:
- Proven technical sales experience in a related industry (e.g,. capital equipment, hire/rental, materials handling)
- Forklift sales experience is a strong advantage, but not essential
- Demonstrated ability to build and execute a business development plan, including proactive client outreach and lead generation
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise inbound enquiries while managing a dynamic sales pipeline
- A consultative sales style, with a focus on understanding client needs and delivering value-driven solutions to senior decision-makers
