About the role

Southside Dental Toowoomba is seeking a dedicated Dental Receptionist to join our growing team in Toowoomba, QLD. This full-time role will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our dental practice, ensuring the smooth running of our operations.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming patients to our dental practice in a friendly and professional manner

Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments, ensuring efficient workflow

Maintaining accurate patient records and updating electronic medical files

Handling billing, insurance claims, and financial transactions with care and attention to detail

Answering incoming calls and addressing patient enquiries in a timely and helpful way

Assisting the dental team with various administrative tasks as required

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a dental or medical reception role, preferably within a dental practice

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional manner

Strong organisational and time management abilities to juggle multiple tasks efficiently

Proficiency in using dental practice management software and standard office applications

Demonstrated attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality customer service

A team-oriented approach and the ability to work collaboratively with the dental team
