The Opportunity:
We are looking for a HR professional to join our small team. As a senior member of the team, you will provide expert advice on Human Resource matters and support the Chief People Officer with the implementation of people and culture strategic initiatives. You will also play a lead role in the HR team and provide guidance and expertise to other members of the team.

What you will need to be successful:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar human resources role
Deep knowledge and understanding of HR best practices and strong working knowledge of employee and industrial relations frameworks
Excellent project management, planning and organisational skills and demonstrated ability to set priorities and to meet tight deadlines
High level of interpersonal, problem solving, negotiation, writing and communication skills
Excellent computer skills, especially in Excel, SharePoint and HR systems
Can-do attitude and ability to influence and motivate a variety of stakeholders
Ability to obtain a police clearance and Working with Children check
Duties include:
Provide HR advice and coaching across the full employee lifecycle including employee relations and performance management, remuneration, employee engagement, policies, and procedures, learning and development and workplace health and safety matters
Interpret, apply and advise on relevant legislation, standards, agreements, policies and procedures and provide advice and recommendations to ensure compliance
Act as the key point of contact for complex employee case management and provide timely and effective responses
Investigate grievances and complaints, and participate in serious incident investigations and ensure appropriate performance management actioned, recorded, and followed up including disciplinary outcomes as required
Lead the development, review and evaluation of HR Policies and Procedures to maintain alignment with best practice and compliance
Lead and/or support the implementation of HR strategies and projects as required
Be a key point of contact within the business and provide direction and support to the HR team and payroll
Support the implementation and ongoing monitoring and evolution of our Workplace Health and Safety system
Provide regular HR reporting and analytics as required
