About the Company
Our client is an NFP that supports the local area of Cleveland to continue to have a wonderful & inviting sense of community & togetherness. With the region growing organically & with the planned Olympics, they are looking to in-house the daily finance function.

About the Role
Reporting to the CEO, every day will be different as you move from transactional accounting to reporting, grant funding to financial and commercial analysis whilst being the glue that keeps the corporate aspects for the organisation on target.

With the ability to engage with both corporate & non- corporate stakeholders you will pave the way for the finance function to enable progression and change.

Key Responsibilities: Newly created role enabling the organisation.

Take charge of all weekly, monthly and year reporting requirements

Compile, improve & enhance board reporting, grant funding pipelines and the audit process

Oversee and get involved in all transactional accounting requirements (not time consuming)

Review systems, insurances, procurement processes and support the CEO with any initiatives that require analysis and business case review

Ad hoc duties to add robust budgeting/ planning to increase revenue & growth plans.

About You:

Seasoned CA/ CPA qualified accountant with experience in a broad role

Ability to add value where needed, being fluid, approachable & responsive

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in an environment where you guide stakeholder to embrace change

Self-driven & autonomous, and optimistic in your approach
