This is a nimble but committed NFP that is part of the fabric within the Redlands area and has continued to increase their presence in supporting local initiatives.
For the first time they are looking to employ a seasoned manager in the HR and Training space to add sophistication and structure to their growing workforce.
In this stand-alone role, you will take ownership of this function and support the CEO with the initial framework and longer-term planning. With a diverse workforce with varying requirements for support, development and training every day will be different.
Given the breath of the role, you will be challenged to use all your skills and ability to add value for the future.
The Role:
Under the mentorship of the CEO you will be tasked with:-
Culture Development: Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture aligned with the values of the organisation.
Employee Engagement: Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to ensure a motivated and happy workforce.
Talent Acquisition & Retention: Lead the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring the attraction and retention of talent.
Leadership & Coaching: Partner with managers to provide guidance on people-related matters, including performance management, career development, and conflict resolution.
HR Strategy & Policy: Drive the HR strategy to align with targets ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Training: oversee the design, implementation and evaluation of training requirements for existing and future staff to enhance employee growth
About You:
You will have proven experience in HR and training either in a small team or stand alone role, have the ability to connect, influence and collaborate with both corporate and non-corporate staff across a diverse team. You will be self-driven, have great EQ and know when to take control and influence those around you

A competitive salary with salary packaging on offer. You will work from two offices in the area (20 minutes apart) but have flexibility to work from home 1 to 2 days per week.
